It's metal scene seems to be on the rise too, with an increasing number of metal bands rearing their ugly heads and emerging from the depths. Crypsis are such an entity - a straight-up thrash metal band who seem to be quite new on the scene.

They are signed to Bridge Nine Records. 2) Ceremony is a post-punk/shoegaze band from Fredericksburg, Virginia, featuring two members of Skywave. 3) Ceremony is a rock band based in Australia with a worldwide release of their debut album available early 2008.
Exumer is an early German thrash metal band with close ties to Angel Dust In 1985, vocalist and bass player, Mem V. Stein decided to form a thrash metal band that embraced the sounds of all his favorite bands from the thrash metal genre at the time.
He met guitarist Ray Mensch at a Slayer show and they started writing music together. Shortly after, they were joined by Syke Bornetto on drums and Bernie Siedler as a second guitarist and EXUMER was born.
ACxDC stands for Antichrist Demoncore. The band was founded in 2003 by Sergio, Pablo, Jeff, and JC. Within 2 years of playing together they released the Jack Trippin' Demo, He Had it Comin' 7", and had 2 tracks on the Signs Of An Impending Doom Compilation. They quickly made their mark in the power violence/grindcore scene by playing tons of wild shows all over Southern California. By 2005 the band had called it quits, but in the summer of 2006 they decided to have a reunion show with all original members for one night only.
Hella began in 2001 in Sacramento, California as a two member band consisting of Zach Hill and Spencer Seim writing technically intricate music of a highly spastic nature. They play a blend of math rock and noise rock. On early albums, the band forged their classic sound, playing minimally arranged, abrasive instrumentals that still retain an idiosyncratic sense of melody. In 2005, the band expanded their live band by adding Dan Elkan on vocals, rhythm guitar, and synth and Jonathan Hischke on bass guitar.

They released their first 7” EP ‘On The Rocks’ on Rhyme Pays Records in April of 2007.
