Joby Talbot is a British Composer. He was born in Wimbledon, London, August 25 of 1971, Talbot initially studied composition at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College under Robert Saxton. In 1993 Talbot first met Neil Hannon and began arranging and performing with his group The Divine Comedy. One of their tracks, "In Pursuit of Happiness", was used as the theme music for BBC TV's Tomorrow's World.

Dan Smith (also known as Listener or The Listener) is a Siloam Springs, Arkansas, musician who has created a subgenre of hip-hop he calls "talk music". With the Release of Ozark Empire, Listener began his first Tour of Homes. This consisted almost entirely of traveling from home to home around the United States (and later, a European Tour of Homes) in a grassroots style of touring. He has played in homes, coffee shops, art galleries, empty warehouses, venues, and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food for potluck before or after the show.

Byron Coley is an American music critic who wrote prominently for Forced Exposure magazine in the 1980s, starting with their fifth issue until the magazine ceased publication in 1993. Prior to Forced Exposure, he wrote for NY Rocker, Boston Rock, and Take It! magazine. Coley is one of the first writers to have extensively documented indie rock from its inception to the present day. Coley was a contributing writer to Spin in the 1980s and '90s, and currently writes for the Wire and Arthur magazine with Thurston Moore.
Charles Spearin, founding member of Do Make Say Think, Broken Social Scene and K.C. Accidental released his debut album, The Happiness Project, on Feb. 14, 2009. The Happiness Project mixes music with spoken interviews which Spearin conducted on persons living in his own neighborhood. A theme throughout each interview is the subject of happiness. According to the album's liner notes, after the interviews Spearin would listen to the playback "for moments that were interesting in both meaning and melody," Spearin wrote.
