Spaceships Are Cool were formed by Rob Maddison in the summer of 2005 and are based in the city of nottingham, UK. Spaceships are cool use toy phones, melodicas, cheesey synths, glockenspiels and miniature drumkits to make their music.
Rob spent many days recording & performing as a drummer & programmer in bands in Nottingham & Newcastle upon tyne. It was whilst drawing doodles & day-dreaming on planes and tour buses, between playing gigs on a volcano in iceland, a converted barn in Sweden & at a bizzare show in a ballroom in Caeser's palace las vegas...

(1) Formed in 1985 in Preston, Lancashire, British thrashers Xentrix (pronounced Zen-tricks) began their careers by playing metal covers before focusing all of their efforts on coming up with original material. Initially known as Sweet Vengeance, guitarist/vocalist Chris Astley, guitarist Kristian Havard, drummer Dennis Gasser and bassist Paul Mackenzie created enough of a stir through their live performances that the English branch of Roadrunner Records took notice and signed the group in January 1989.

Gloworm:
Group fronted by Sedric Johnson (b. Alabama), currently resident in California. The leader of the 100-strong Long Beach Choir, he was spotted at a soul revue by Englishman Will Mount, who was on the lookout for a singer. After an impromptu performance Will Mount, who together with producer/remixer Rollo forms the musician team behind Gloworm, was won over. They anchored Johnson's gospel inspired vocals to a club beat to produce memorable records like Lift My Cup and Carry Me Home, both based on traditional songs.

Vex

There are eight artists by the name of Vex. 1) Vex hailed from South East London / north west kent area and formed in the very early eighties, the 'Sanctuary' 12" and 'It's no crime' on the Mortarhate compalation 'Who?What?Why?When?Where?' were their only releases.
Sanctuary was issued on Fight Back, a sublabel of Mortarhate, run by the people of Conflict. Vex also played gigs with Conflict, so they were more associated with the anarchist punk scene than the Batcave fair. But contrary to most anarcho-punk bands from that time, they were not influenced by CRASS or Conflict.

The English Concert - a British baroque orchestra based in London, founded by the harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock in 1973, and since 2003 led by the baroque violinist Andrew Manze. Since September 2007 the Artistic Director is Harry Bicket. D.A.M. ("Destruction And Mayhem") was a band from Lancashire, England. They were formed by ex-metal heart guitarist John Bury and his brother Phil in 1986, debuting with a 3-track demo entitled "Human Wreckage". The tape received good, solid reviews from the metal press - in-particular Metal Forces in the UK - taking its cue from "Ride the Lightning"-era Metallica and a classic NWOBHM sound.
