Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats

Formed in the old wastelands of witchery and paranoia, Cambridgeshire band Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats deliver the new sound of 60s terror. This popular beat combo crawled from its secluded hideout in 2009 to record their debut album, 'Vol. 1' for Killer Candy Records. With a limited release in 2010, the album was warmly received with the track 'Witches Garden' appearing on a Classic Rock Magazine cover CD. The band also drew the attention of Leif Edling from legendary doom band Candlemass, who would later recommend them to Lee Dorrian at Rise Above.

Thine

One of the most powerful forces in the goth metal underground, Thine stepped into the spotlight in the late '90s and continued to make waves throughout the next few years. It all started in 1996 when singer Alan, guitarist Paul, and drummer Dan came together due to their love of heavy music. Putting together the rough Journey's demo later that year, a member of Black Tears Records' staff heard the record and recommended them to be signed.

spaceships are cool

Spaceships Are Cool were formed by Rob Maddison in the summer of 2005 and are based in the city of nottingham, UK. Spaceships are cool use toy phones, melodicas, cheesey synths, glockenspiels and miniature drumkits to make their music.
Rob spent many days recording & performing as a drummer & programmer in bands in Nottingham & Newcastle upon tyne. It was whilst drawing doodles & day-dreaming on planes and tour buses, between playing gigs on a volcano in iceland, a converted barn in Sweden & at a bizzare show in a ballroom in Caeser's palace las vegas...
