1) diSEMBOWELMENT was an Australian death/doom metal band from Melbourne that was formed in 1989 after the two piece grind band Bacteria featuring drummer Paul Mazziotta and guitarist/vocalist Renato Gallina changed its name and musical style. With Dean Ruprich from Necrotomy providing bass, the band released its first demo, "Mourning September" in 1990. The band played very slowly (and occasionally with great speed), and relied equally on the atmospheric effects of droning guitars and constant riffing.

Maniac is known to be the name of six musical artists:
1. A new project of The Matches frontman Shawn Harris and Something With Numbers frontman Jake Grigg. Formed in 2009 under the name Maniac, they currently have a blog for posting song clips of their covers of the current Billboard Hot 100 number one single. They have so far covered "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas and are set to release their debut album in 2010. Leng Tch'e aka death by a thousand cuts, is an ancient Chinese torture ritual where the victim is being doped up and cut into bits. The victim doesn't feel any of this procedure until it is far too late and death is unavoidable. Leng Tch'e the band formed in early 2001, basing their own hybrid of grindcore on bands such as Regurgitate, Hemdale, Nasum and Blood Duster and mixing it all up with some stoner / rock / hardcore influences, the band baptized their own unique style, now known as 'razorgrind'.

Agathocles is a legendary grindcore band from Belgium, who describe their music as "mincecore". The band started in 1985, and has gone through many line-up changes - with Jan Frederickx being the only original member - but is still going strong today. Agathocles have gained an underground cult following through their frequent releases - which mostly include countless 7" EPs, Split 7" EPs, full-length CDs / LPs, and compilations - adding up throughout the years to become one of the largest discographies of any grindcore band.
