Violent Soho

Violent Soho are a four piece band from Mansfield, Brisbane. Band members Luke Boerdam, James Tidswell, Luke Henry and Michael Richards attended school together. Their debut EP, Pigs and T.V., was released in early 2006 and recieved wide acclaim; 'Blunt Magazine' hailing Violent Soho's Vines-esque sound as "boisterous pop rock reviving the spirit of the grunge era". Recently joining The Grates on a national tour and playing local 4zzz festival Market Day, Violent Soho have burst onto the Brisbane music scene, offering a raw yet fresh element to the already rich musical tapestry of the city.

Infectious Grooves

Infectious Grooves (n., in-fek-shus groovz) are a funk metal band led by Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir. It also featured ex-Suicidal Tendencies, now Metallica, bassist Robert Trujillo, and ex-Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins. Though Muir's sense of humor was often obvious with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves often brought out a goofier type of humor: their albums contain comedy skits by a reptilian lover named Sarsippius. The band can be seen (and heard) performing as the prom band in the 1992 Pauly Shore film Encino Man

Honeytoad

HoneyToad are from the Keighley area of West Yorkshire in the UK. A demo was recorded in 2004 with drummer G Wilkinson and bassist Geoff Livermore. Geoff then left due to other band commitments. Lengthy auditions found a replacement in Nige Mason from Dudley based power prog trio Gridlock. Honey Toad then took a break due to ill health but soon return to start gigging in June 2006. Honey Toad are currently writing and performing new material with a harder edge. New songs will be available soon...

Jackson and His Computer Band is an IDM artist signed to Warp Records consisting of Jackson Fourgeaud, a 26-year-old Parisian composer. His style has been described as "a style orgy, a psychedelic celebration of conflict."
After his acid house debut on Pumpking records in 1996, Sound Of Barclay released the "Sense Juice" and "Gourmet EPs" under the name Jackson & His Computer Band.

Paintings of Ships

Paintings of Ships are a trio from North London, formed in early 2009, who offer up a heartfelt, poppy, nautically tinged kind of grungey, melodic indie. Londoner Daniel Clancy (vocals and guitar) formed the band with Northerner Catherine Wilson, previously of St Elmo's Fire, on (bass and vocals). They went for the geographical middle ground when choosing Midlander Matt Hill, of Faster and Port Sunlight, on drums.

Solomon Grundy

Solomon Grundy were a psychedelic rock band from Ellensburg, Washington. They formed in 1989 and released their debut album release in 1990. The band featured Van Conner from the Screaming Trees as a guitarist and vocalist. They released an album called Stone Soup and Other Stories which was later changed to solely Solomon Grundy.
