Futureproof

Futureproof are a male vocal group who performed for the chance to win the 2007 series of the British talent show X Factor. Consisting of five members who, like Hope, auditioned originally as soloists but did not make it past bootcamp. Aaron Delahunty (19), Adam Chandler (21), Matthew Protheroe (17), Richard Wilkinson (23) and Sean Rumsey (20) formed a group after Louis Walsh suggested that they re-audition as a five-piece.

Paije Richardson

Paije Richardson, 20, is a cinema usher and former fashion student from Islington, London. He has recently finished a BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design (Fashion and Clothing) at City and Islington College. He first auditioned with "Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra but Walsh was the only judge to enthuse over his performance, Cowell compared him to a wedding singer and joined Cole in giving him a no. Walsh went backstage to ask him to come back at the end of the day with another song.

Little Mix

Little Mix (previously Rhythmix) are the 2011 winners of The X Factor, and the first group to ever take the grand prize. The Cannonball Songfacts reports that their debut single, a cover of the Damien Rice ballad Cannonball was released digitally the morning after their win. The song was produced by Fazer, who is the N-Dubz colleague and boyfriend of their mentor, Tulisa Contostavlos. According to Songfacts, Wings, the lead single from their debut album, will be released on August 19, 2012.

Lisa Lois

Lisa Hordijk ( stage name: Lisa Lois) (born in Wageningen, Netherlands, June 22, 1987) is a Dutch singer and winner of the second season of X Factor. Her debut single, a cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" went straight to number one in the Dutch Top 40. Before Lisa participated in X Factor she was in a band called Left Lane Lisa which was quite popular in her hometown and in some other parts of the Netherlands.

Rhydian

Rhydian (born 14 February 1983) is a singer from Wales best known for his appearance on the fourth series of the British talent show The X Factor in which he came second. He was praised by all four judges throughout the series for his impressive performances, and he was the favourite to win the competition with the bookmakers. Rhydian released his self-titled debut album, 'Rhydian', on the 24th of November 2008.

Aiden Grimshaw

Aiden Grimshaw, 18, is a student from North Shore, Blackpool. He attends the Michael Hall Theatre School and played Tom Holmes in CBBC show Half Moon Investigations. He auditioned with "Gold Digger" by Kanye West, prompting Cowell to say "Now that's what I call a pop star!". He then auditioned with "This Year's Love" by David Gray during Boot Camp wowing the judges again, helping him get through to the final 32...

Essex boy Olly Murs is an office worker and describes himself as an ordinary geezer. He applied for the talent show X Factor in 2009 and blew away the judges with his audition. Olly Murs lost the final to Joe McElderry on December 13, 2009.
