The Apers

The Apers started back in 1996 as a three piece in the suburbs of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Kevin and Marien met in highschool, Ivo lived in a town nearby. They started gigging around the Netherlands. In 2000 Jerry Hormone joined the band on second guitar. But after 5 years, he decided to leave, so Kelvin Centerfold took over his place. Kelvin rules! The Apers have done more than 600 shows, rocking in countries like the Netherlands, USA, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, France, Spain, England, Scotland, Ireland, Slovakia and Norway.

Lagwagon

Lagwagon is a band based in the small town of Goleta, California. Forming in 1990, they have released seven albums, all through San Francisco label Fat Wreck Chords. They are widely viewed as catalysts for the movement of the 1990's, opening the door for some of the subgenre's more mainstream bands. The most recent members of Lagwagon include Vocalist Joey Cape, guitarists Chris Flippin and Chris Rest, bassist Joe Raposo, and drummer Dave Raun.

The Simpletones

The Simpletones, a California group whose releases first appeared on Posh Boy Records beginning in 1978 and with recordings contained in compilations released on other labels in multiple countries. They are, perhaps, best known as one of the 3 groups contained on the 1979 seminal compilation album Beach Blvd., the other 2 groups being Rik L Rik (Negative Trend, and F-Word) and The Crowd. In the book "We Got The Neutron Bomb "The Untold Story of L.A. Punk", Robbie Fields outlines his journey "scouring for younger, fresher talent" in the suburbs of Los Angeles.

Softball

Softball is an all-female pop-punk band from Chiba, Japan. The band members — Moe (vocals/guitar), Nomiya (bass), and Rie (drums) — got together while still in high school. Mike Park signed them to Asian Man Records, and they made their self-titled first American release in 1999.

It’s a truly rare occasion when a debut by a band is met with the kind of feverish fan anticipation that has encircled LUCKY STREET, the full-length debut by Tallahassee, Florida melodic rockers GO RADIO. But then again, none of those other groups have JASON LANCASTER at the helm.

Mest

Mest was a pop punk band from Blue Island, Illinois. -
Cousins Matt Lovato and Tony Lovato formed the band together in October of 1995. The band's last guitarist, Jeremiah Rangel, joined the band in 1998. Their previous guitarist was Steve Lovato, Tony Lovato's brother. He left the band due to creative differences. Nick Gigler played drums for Mest from 1997. In 1998, the band self-released Mo' Money, Mo' 40z.
