Formed around 1990 in Los Angeles, California, United States, by drummer Danny Carey, guitarist Adam Jones, vocalist Maynard James Keenan, and original bassist Paul d'Amour, Tool is a band that is most noted for combining alternative metal with a wide variety of progressive structures, irregular time signatures and lyrics that range from angry diatribes to meditations on philosophical and social matters.
Sun Control Species is Andrew Davidson (aka Drooid and Wombat), a progressive psytrance artist from Melbourne, Australia. He has become a standard amongst the australian trance scene since the turn of the millenium. A fully accredited musician and engineer, working from '98 to 2000 as a commercial sound engineer and producer in Sydney, he eventually left to pursue his own music career. After deciding against joining a 'boy band' the project SCS was born.
Sceptic is a Polish death metal band founded in 1994 by Jacek Hiro (ex-Decapitated, Dies Irae, Virgin Snatch). Marcin Urba? (one of the fastest 200 meter sprinters) handled the vocal duties for the first and the third album (Blind Existence, Unbeliever's Script), but is currently a session member due to his sport career. They have gained popularity in their home country being the second highest selling electronic artist ever and have been popular with australia's Drum and Bass followers. Vandalism is an Australian electro house music group. It comprises DJs/producers Andy Van (previous member of Madison Ave), and Cassie Van (Singer, Songwriter). In February 2006 Vandalism released a cover single "Never Say Never" (originally sung by Romeo Void), backed by a considerable amount of airplay by Nova and a video clip shown on Rage. The group have been profilic remixers in the last few years, reworking songs for varied artists such as Skepta, Brad Hed and Yves Larock.
British synth player, born December 10, 1958. Enjoyed success on the underground dance scene in the early 80's before breaking into the mainstream with "19", an international smash which spent five weeks at number one in the UK. In the latter half of the 1980s he specialised in tv soundtrack work. He made the theme tunes for Top of The Pops and Saturday Live, popular British entertainment shows. Paul now records mainly under the pseudonym Jazzmasters. Early tracks of note include the popular 'Rain Forest' and 'King Tut', both were big dance hits in the U.S.

1) Formed in 1999 when Jess "stole" Claire from former band Little Green Pants The first 3 songs ever written by SugarComa are 'Bed of Dolls', 'Boy in Chains' (now known as Zero Star) and 'Heartworm'. These went on to be Coma classics. After a couple of other songs were written, the band recorded an amateur-sounding demo tape in the St Edwards school studio. The bands first proper gig took place at The Walthamstow Standard, supporting a Metallica tribute act.
The Whitlams are an Australian four-piece band hailing from Newtown, New South Wales. Formed in 1992, the band originally comprised Tim Freedman (lead vocals, piano), Stevie Plunder (lead vocals, guitar) and Andy Lewis (double bass, backing vocals). The line-up has changed many times over the years with Tim the only consistent member of the band, not to mention the only original member still alive. In the current line-up Terepai Richmond hits the drums, Warwick Hornsby plays the bass, and Jak Housden steals the scene on the electric guitar alongside the ever-present Tim Freedman.
