Tongue Tide are a contemporary female singing and song writing duo born and bred in tidal towns either ends of the UK; Barrow-in-Furness and Broadstairs. They are a band with 'attitude', fronted by Steve Ruffe The Wild Man of Folk who - as well as writing great songs that get audiences singing - is on lead vocals and plays guitar, harmonica and percussion. Chloe Watson is a an amazing folk fiddler; her classical training gives her a freedom and edge that keep her afloat above the wild things that go on around her. She is also developing into a talented singer with an amazing delivery that always adds something new to the songs she sings.

Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman

Tom Morello was the guitarist for the bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave before releasing his solo project of Acoustic Folk Music under the pseudonym The Nightwatchman. After releasing his album One Man Revolution, Tom decided to bill himself as Tom Morello: The Nightwatchman for his album "The Fabled City".

Stephanie Sayers

Stephanie Sayers is a singer songwriter who was born in upstate New York. She has lived in Massachusetts, New Orleans and Los Angeles. In 1995 Stephanie released 'Christmas Island', an EP that brought her to the attention of Lenny Waronker, then in the process of starting up Dreamworks Records, where she joined his stable of emerging talent, including Elliott Smith, Rufus Wainwright and Eels. In 2000, Stephanie toured with Sparklehorse on the West Coast. In 2001 she appeared on the Galaxie 500 tribute album "Snowstorm" (Elefant Records, Spain) to which she contributed the track "Spook".

Mama Cass

"Mama" Cass Elliot, Baroness von Wiedenman (19 September 1941 – 29 July 1974), born Ellen Naomi Cohen, was a noted American singer who performed with The Mamas & the Papas. She then went onto a successful solo career, releasing nine albums. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she spent most of her childhood both in Baltimore and Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C. Elliot was widely considered the most charismatic member of the Mamas & the Papas due to her sense of humor and optimism, in part because of her large size and weight.

Baba Yaga

'Baba Yaga,' according to Slavic mythology, is the wild, old women, the dark lady and the mistress of magic, as too is she seen as a forest spirit, leading hosts of spirits. More than one artist is known as Baba Yaga. 1. A six piece all female lesbian jazz-funk group active in the 70s. 2. Baba Yaga was a group of Hungarian and Russian musicians fronted by Irish musician Jamie Winchester. The music was a unique mixture of original English language songs and Russian folk songs. They made two albums 'Where Will You Go?' and 'Secret Combination'.

Luka Bloom

Luka Bloom (born 23 May 1955 as Barry Moore) is an accomplished Irish folk-rock singer-songwriter. He is also the younger brother of Irish folk singer Christy Moore. In order to avoid the pressure of being related to Christy Moore, Bloom adopted his pseudonym. "Luka" is taken from the title of Suzanne Vega's song "Luka" about child abuse and "Bloom" refers to the main character in James Joyce's Ulysses. Bloom is, however, very forthcoming about being Moore's brother and does not hide behind his stage name.

ahab are a singer songwriter collective who formed in July 2009 after being invited to play the annual ‘Fanfare’ festival in Nashville, Tennessee. Following a successful week long residency tearing the roof off at Tootsies Orchid Lounge, they came back to Dalston and decided to make the collaboration permanent. After a year spent writing new material and layering the songs thick with harmonies ahab decided to hit the streets of London’s markets to put their name around.
