Luca Turilli's Rhapsody

Luca Turilli's Rhapsody is the name of the new band of the Italian composer Luca Turilli due to the friendly split between Luca Turilli and Alex Starpoli (main composers of the bands Rhapsody and Rhapsody of Fire). The addition of Luca's name before Rhapsody is due to the same legal reasons of the past not allowing him to use the word Rhapsody alone. The first album Ascending To Infinity would be released in late june 2012. Discography:

Threepenny Bit

A young and vibrant addition to the folk scene, Threepenny Bit folk and ceilidh band was formed from an unlikely combination of student-types in Southampton in 2010. Consisting of suitcase percussion, fiddle, flute, guitar and clarinet, they play a wide range of Irish, English, Cornish, Breton and Scottish diddly-dee music with a hint of klezmer! Threepenny Bit set the trend for “Half Price Busking” in the Summer of 2010, when they embarked upon a busking campaign to spread folk music to the four corners of Southern England.

Maddy Prior

Maddy Prior (born 14 August 1947, Blackpool, England) is an English folk singer. One of the most accomplished female vocalists in the British folk music scene, Maddy Prior is best known as the lead singer in the electric folk-rock band Steeleye Span. In her teens Prior moved to St Albans, where she befriended the young Donovan Leitch and Mac MacLeod. She later formed a duo with MacLeod called Mac & Maddy. She became a roadie for visiting American musicians, including Reverend Gary Davis.

Patrick Street

Patrick Street was one of the top Irish traditional bands of the 1980s, formed in Dublin in 1986 by Kevin Burke (formerly of The Bothy Band) on fiddle, Jackie Daly (De Dannan) on button accordion, Andy Irvine (Sweeney's Men, Planxty) on bouzouki and vocals, and Arty McGlynn (Van Morrison, Planxty) on guitar. McGlynn later left the group, and other members were added: Ged Foley (The House Band, Battlefield Band) on guitar, and Declan Masterson on uilleann pipes and keyboards. They have also played with Donal Lunny, Bill Whelan and Enda Walsh.

Moya Brennan

Moya Brennan, Máire Ní Bhraonáin, better known as Máire Brennan or incorrectly/phonetically as Moya Brennan (born 4 August 1952, Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland), is a Grammy Award-nominated Celtic Folk singer. She began her singing career when her family formed the band Clannad in 1970. Brennan grew up as the eldest in a very musical family in a remote parish in the northwest of Ireland, a place where the Irish language and tradition was and still is very much alive.
