Killing Fields Of Ontario

A man once said, "music is the food of love". Stuart and Tom like music, food, and love, and have attempted to express this through the medium of song. In January 2008, after much dawdling, pissing about, and periods of unemployment, they went into the studio with two other real life people. They are called Jim and Dave. The recording went splendidly and a band/fellowship was formed. Since joining Myspace, Tom and Stu have started to write in the third person, which appears to be the norm, but sounds stupid.

Artist Type:

wonderswan

Wonderswan was conceived early in 2008 in a dark, damp basement in Leeds and incubated in a warm pouch by the radiant glow of a shared love for scuzzy 90s lo-fi slacker bands. The fledgling creature hatched in April with the addition of drummer G.E.D who heard the youngster crying out with hunger as he floated by attached to some helium balloons. With the additional nourishment of his frantic c86 style drummings, Wonderswan quickly matured and soon found itself performing alongside some of its own favourite bands, including Times New Viking, No Age, Copy Haho and Lovvers to name just a few.

The Stars Down To Earth

Formed in 2008 by singer Alastair Gray, bassist Toby Dore and keyboard player Chloe Debouzie, The Stars Down to Earth arose from songs written by Alastair over the previous year. Wishing from the outset to distance themselves from the 4 boys/4 instruments style of indie, they began to put together an array of sounds in order to capture those that had inspired Alastair to write in the beginning. They quickly brought in Becky Walton to sing backing vocals but she soon found herself behind the drums as well.
