We formed in December 2009 as a four piece consisting of brothers Hadleigh Banfield (guitar & vocals) and Harrison Banfield (bass), Adam Watt (drums) and Chris Mitchell (lead bass). Hadleigh and Harrison had played together for several years in the rock band

The Hittites

The Hittites / Yr Hethiaid The Hittites launched their career in the unreconstructed Y Cwps (The Coopers Arms pub in Aberystwyth) a year or so ago. The Hittites are not your conventional folk outfit. With a growing catalogue of their own compositions The Hittites mix traditional sounds with contemporary themes (mobile phones, McDonalds etc.). They have a striking visual presence and would make a great study for a cartoonist.

Bryn Terfel

Bryn Terfel Jones CBE is a Welsh bass-baritone opera and concert singer. Terfel was initially associated with the roles of Mozart, particularly Leporello, but he has expanded his repertoire to include heavier roles, including Wagner. Bryn Terfel Jones was born in Pantglas, North Wales, the son of a farmer (he knew of another Welsh baritone named Delme Bryn-Jones, so Terfel chose Bryn Terfel as his professional name). Terfel had an interest in and talent for music from a very young age. A family friend taught him how to sing, starting with traditional Welsh songs.

Goldie Lookin' Chain

Goldie Lookin' Chain* - often referred to as 'GLC' or 'The Chain' - is a group of Welsh rappers that produce humorous and satirical hip-hop music. The group's first album, "Don't Blame The Chain", was released on CD-R in 2001, although their first single "Half Man Half Machine / Self Suicide" wasn't released until April 2004. Since then, singles have included their breakthrough hit "Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do", pub singalong "Your Mother ('s Got A Penis)", Welsh Valentine serenade "You Knows I Loves You", "Your Missus Is A Nutter" and "R'n'B".

Meic Stevens

Meic Stevens is a Welsh singer-songwriter. His psych-folk influence can be heard in such contemporary Welsh groups as Super Furry Animals and Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. Stevens was one of the first artistes to record for his country's first independent record company, the Sain label. Stevens sang mostly in his native language. His one English-language album is 1970's Outlander. Meic composes most of the lyrics and music on his albums.
