Mike Westbrook (born Michael John David Westbrook 21 March 1936 in High Wycombe, England) is an English jazz pianist, composer, and writer of orchestrated jazz pieces. He became a key figure in the development of British Jazz in the late 1960s. Westbrook spent his childhood in Torquay and went to art school in Plymouth where he began his first bands with such musicians as John Surman, Lou Gare and Keith Rowe.
Son Lux is Ryan Lott. His debut recording, At War With Walls and Mazes (2008), earned him the title of "Best New Artist" by NPR's All Songs Considered. Navvy are a 4 piece group from Sheffield. Keith plays bass and sings; Claire sings and plays percussion and keyboards; Marie plays the drums and Daf plays the guitar. The band formed in 2006 from the ashes of several underground Sheffield bands, and their first session with Pulp's erstwhile producer Alan Smyth resulted their debut E.P. called "4 Songs By Navvy". Navvy's sound is sometimes angular and ferocious and sometimes poppy. Their songs are usually concerned with longevity and dysfunction.

Pick up any of their many CD's and if you enjoy this check out Amanda and Joe's husband and wife duo, The Like Young, an amazing, but retired, Chicago Indie rock duet. Fans of the Like Young be warned, with the exception of 'Tall Dark Hill,' their sound is pretty different than what you're used to.
There are at least two bands/artists with the name Native Sun. 1) Native Sun is a London based duo consisting of bilingual rapper Mohammed Yahya, born in Mozambique, South East Africa and singer-song writer Sarina Leah born in London with Caribbean roots. Joining forces in 2010 Native Sun was born fusing Hip Hop and African rhythms with the aim of promoting a positive message of Universal Peace, Equality, Social Justice and Environmental Change.

Due to the foursomes different backgrounds, their music isnt easily categorised.
Jackie Greene is a singer-songwriter playing folk or roots rock music. Greene, was born on November 27, 1980 and was brought up in Cameron Park, California. He was interested in music from an early age. As a child, he taught himself to play the piano and subsequently the guitar. At 16 he started sitting in for local bands. As he got older he started composing his own songs and ended up playing in coffee-houses. He recorded a demo in his garage called
Formed in Bristol in 1996, the Experimental Pop Band originated as a studio band who included Davey Woodward (vocals) Chris Galvin (bass) and Corin Dingley (drums and keys). the band released a series of singles that gained critical acclaim from national music press including single of the week with the track 'boutique in my backyard' later covered by Sophie Ellis Baxter's theaudience. First ablum was a compilation of 4 eps named 'Woof' released on the Swarf Finger label. Corin left the band to form Alpha with Keith Bailey (drums) and Joe Rooney (keyboards) joining in mid 1996.
