Fiddlers’ Bid are internationally respected as leading exponents of their unique musical heritage and rich fiddle tradition and are global ambassadors for Shetland. Marmalade

A successful Scottish pop/rock group, originally called Dean Ford & the Gaylords, they released several unsuccessful singles between 1964 and 1966 before changing their name. They enjoyed their greatest success up to this point with The Beatles', "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" which topped the UK singles chart in January 1969. Unusually they had two bass players, and were the first Scottish group to top the UK charts. Original band members: Dean Ford (Thomas McAleese), Junior Campbell, Graham Knight, Pat Fairley and Alan Whitehead.

Val Verde

Val Verde are 3 Fifers and a Weejie who in 2008 began to make their mark on the Scottish music scene. They have established themselves on their home turf of Dunfermline, Fife as one of the top live acts on the local scene and have built up a strong following as well as a string of industry admirers. 2008 seen them supporting some quality acts including:
Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), Chris Helme (The Seahorses), Attic Lights, Sergeant, Figure 5 and Broken Records to name but a few.

Popup are from Glasgow. They are Adrienne, Damien, Michael and Nicholas. They played their first show at a Halloween party and have worn the same disguise ever since. Their priorities are to continually develop their songs and to play live as much as possible. Some highlights so far include their energetic late-night set at Musicworks 2005; a support slot for Malcolm Middleton; being featured on BBC Radio 1 Lamacq Best of Scotland; being tipped by BBC2 Scotland's The Music Show; performing live in session on BBC Radio Scotland; and their first London gig at the Brixton Windmill.
