Blaggers I.T.A.

BLAGGERS I.T.A (formerly The Blaggers) were an Oi!/punk and agitpop band noted for their strong militant anti-fascist and left wing lyrics and activism. The band forged particularly close links with Anti Fascist Action, donating money to the organisation as well as using themselves as a platform to promote the organisation and its ideology. The band was founded in 1988 by singer Matty Blagg, who had been introduced to Marxism while in prison.

Immortal Technique

Felipe Andres Coronel (born February 19, 1978), better known by the stage name Immortal Technique, is a Peruvian rapper, and an urban activist. He was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Harlem, New York. Most of his lyrics focus on controversial issues in global politics. The views expressed in his lyrics are largely a mixture of socialist commentary on issues such as class hierarchy, poverty, religion, government and institutional racism.

There is more than one artist with the name 'No Respect': 1)No Respect was a german skapunk-band with mostly political lyrics. The main topics are antifascism, anarchy and freedom. 2)Some nasty and ripping metal that smacks of the bad boy L.A. scene of old, conjuring images of GNR, L.A. Guns, and early Skid Row, as well as some of the early carefree work of both Saigon Kick and Ugly Kid Joe.

Dead Kennedys

Dead Kennedys are a hardcore punk/punk rock band from San Francisco, California. During the 1980s the band gained a large underground following in the international punk music scene. Their music mixed the more experimental elements of English 1970s punk with the raw energy of the 1980s American scene. Dead Kennedys' songs mix the deliberately shocking lyrics of punk with a satirical and sarcastic left-wing commentary on social and political issues.

Dan Berglund

Two Swedish musicians:
1.
Dan Berglund is an Swedish folk singer and guitarist, born in Helsinki, Finland in 1954.
In the 70's he was affiliated with the Swedish Marxist-Leninist communist party (KPML(r)), but in '79 he turned his back on the party, comparing the Leninist view on communism with the Taliban view of Islam. He is most known for his album "En järnarbetares visor", released in 1975.

Plain Jane

1. Plain Jane were a glam metal band that Jani Lane and Steven Sweet were members of before they joined Warrant. Plain Jane recorded several demos, including a cover of "Time Warp" (from The Rocky Horror Picture Show), "Dance On The Flames", "California Stars", and pre-Warrant versions of "Heaven" and "Sad Theresa". 2. An obscure riot grrrl band from Olympia, WA. Nomy Lamm fronted it in hir teens. The other members were also teenagers. Probably active in the early 90s. They released a four-song demo and most likely nothing else.
