The Australian indie four-piece flew overseas in 2008 to play the Great Escape Festival in the UK after Martin Elbourne (former agent of New Order, The Smiths) immediately confirmed City Riots after watching the band perform just a few weeks beforehand. The band was part of a stellar line-up including The Wombats, Vampire Weekend and The Futureheads, as well as playing sideshows at the Camden Barfly and the International Pop Festival in Liverpool.
The Getaway Plan is an alternative rock band based in Australia. The band formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 2004, comprising of vocalist/guitarist Matthew Wright, guitarist Clint Splattering, bassist Dave Anderson and drummer Aaron Barnett. Their debut release was a demo in 2004. In 2006 The Getaway Plan signed to Boomtown Records and made their debut release through a label, an EP titled Hold Conversation.

Hedley is a Canadian pop rock band comprising lead singer Jacob Hoggard, Tommy Mac on bass, Dave Rosin on lead guitar and Chris Crippin on drums. The current band retains the original name of Hoggard's pre-Canadian Idol group, although the membership has changed. The band originated in Abbotsford, British Columbia. They were named after the town of Hedley, British Columbia, a name chosen after members heard that it was for sale for $246,000.
Section 30 are one of the better Yorkshire bands around at the moment. Their music is a rich infusion of rock and indie with a bit for everyone. Powerful and catchy guitar riffs met equally as well with the infectious vocal hooks that are the main stay of the Section 30 set list. Jonny Craig is a Canadian singer. He currently fronts the band Emarosa and has recently returned to his post as singer of Dance Gavin Dance, the band he was kicked out of in 2007. His other projects include a former stint in Ghost Runner On Third and sharing vocal duties in the supergroup Isles & Glaciers. He also has a solo career, and is the first and only act of its kind to be signed to Rise Records. Solo work
