Life

Numerous artists have used the name Life, including: Life - a crasher crust punk band from Japan. Life - a Swedish power trio (Anders Nordh, Paul Sundlin and Thomas Rydberg) who released one self-titled album and two singles for EMI in 1970 and 1971. Life - a British quartet that made mainstream, somewhat bluesy, slightly prog-ish rock rather in the style of Argent or Wishbone Ash. Their one album for Polydor, 1974’s Life After Death, was produced by Chris White of The Zombies. Life’s keyboardist Ian Gibbons later ended up in The Kinks.

19 (ジューク) was a Japanese popular music duo. Its members were Kenji Okahira and Keigo Iwase. The group broke up in March 2002. Kenji is now a member of the band 3B LAB.☆S.

Jai

Self-described as "a mod for the hip-hop generation," Jai grew up in the same British village as PJ Harvey and played in a trio whose other two members later formed her first backing band. Born Jason Rowe in Yeovil, England, he was inspired by a variety of musical sources both modern (Kraftwerk, Massive Attack, Public Enemy) and classic (Marvin Gaye, Burt Bacharach). Rowe began playing with a pop band, but when his mates left him to play with PJ Harvey, he moved to London and met up with guitarist/producer Joel Bogen while at a club.

With their extremely brutal sound and unforgettable character, all the local metalheads had eventually recognized them as the only one “SAMURAI warrior death/thrash metal” band around Kawagoe,the most traditional city in Saitama. Electric Eel Shock

Electric Eel Shock (a.k.a. EES) are a Japanese celebration of classic rock, punk and metal. A true power trio (Aki Morimoto - Guitar & Vocals; Kazuto Maekawa - Bass; Tomoharu 'Gian' Ito - Drums) from the time before rock became fractured into a diverse multitude of sub-genres and we were all still one big happy Rock & Roll family. EES formed in Tokyo in the late 1990s, they first toured the United States in 1999 and came to Europe in early 2003 - they have been touring the world ever since.
