Every once in a great while a band loaded with explosive creative energy comes along and redefines the musical landscape as we know it. As for now, Spencer is not yet one of those bands. They're just four guys from Southern California who know how to play damn good music. The band's beginning coincided with 2001's end when Rey and Adam, formerly of Checkered Flag, teamed up with Alex, whose band Johnny 5 had just called it quits.
Once upon a time, there was an artist named Spaceship. He was feeling quite despondent about making music. It seemed a superficial means to an end, and ultimately a waste of time. He decided at once to do something about it. He decided to do something for charity. The result is As the Head Turns, an album wherewith half of all the financial contributions would go to some particular charity. After much debate and research, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, or NAEH, was the final choice.

2 Unlimited was a eurodance group from Amsterdam, Netherlands formed in 1991. The project was the brainchild of the Belgian production duo Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde, who wrote and recorded the backing tracks. Their songs' vocals were performed by Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and singer Anita Doth, who also wrote the lyrics. The two original members now record as Ray & Anita. Their first hit, Get Ready For This, was released in 1991 and took the European charts by storm, first as an instrumental version, then as a rap version.

Born "Sonia Clarke" in London, England in 1968, of Trinidadian parentage. She was sort of written-off at school but had shown talents in sports. She dreamed of becoming a successful pentathlete up to the time ending up only second in a race. Then she turned to the music scene, dancing at clubs etc. and joined a reggae band as a singer at the age of 17. She was homeless in these times. Her band went defunct the same year, but she got a solo record deal leading to an immediate club hit in the UK.
