Gilad Atzmon & The Orient House Ensemble

Gilad Atzmon (Hebrew: גלעד עצמון‎, born June 9, 1963, Israel) is an Israeli-born British jazz musician, and is known as an author and activist who is critical of both Zionism and Judaism.[2] His album Exile was BBC jazz album of the year in 2003,[3] and he has been described as "one of London's finest saxophonists".[4] Playing over 100 dates a year,[4] he has been called "surely the hardest-gigging man in British jazz".

Hal Willner

Hal Willner (born 1957, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American music producer working in recording, films, TV and live events. He is best known for assembling tribute albums and events featuring a wide variety of artists and musical styles (jazz, classical, rock, Tin Pan Alley). His first tribute album was Armacord Nino Rota in 1981. In the 1970s he worked under record producer Joel Dorn. He became music supervisor of Saturday Night Live in 1981, a position he still holds. He was also a producer of the TV program Sunday Night hosted by David Sanborn.

Hancock is one of jazz music's most important and influential pianists and composers. He embraced elements of rock, funk, and soul while adopting freer stylistic elements from jazz. As part of Miles Davis' "second great quintet" Hancock helped redefine the role of a jazz rhythm section, and was later one of the first jazz musicians to embrace synthesizers and jazz funk.
