The Orch. are Michael Conroy (lyrics and vocals), Phil Hayes (guitars, visuals and production) and Damian Ashcroft (keyboards, synths and production). They played live together around Manchester, UK a lot in the 90's, earning regular regional radio play, pockets of critical acclaim and a release on Tony Wilson's factory too (fac 2.02). Having gone their separate ways for over a decade (in which period Conroy released two albums 'Cheap Shots and 'Royal Shit' under the moniker 'Superqueens' with Salford electronica/beats composer Bruce Magill)...

There are, at least, two artists known as ceo/CEO. 1. ceo: A pseudonym of Eric Berglund (of The Tough Alliance). There are several artists with this name: 1. A Dutch indie band from Eindhoven/Horst. Momentarily they are in rest. The band made it through to the European finals of one of the biggest bandcontests in de world. Leadsinger Aran Jeurissen nowadays performs solo as Songs Of Aran. 2. A UK based, socially conscious downtempo group fronted by musician and social activist Seth Mowshowitz – himself of Canadian, American and Dutch origin. Their music is characterised by the mixing of humanitarian voices including Martin Luther King, Kurt Vonnegut and Jimmy Carter with downtempo beats.

Blu is definitely a leader in the new school of Los Angeles emcees. His presence is undeniable, while his music captivates audiences regardless of race, class, and gender. Bruce Cockburn

Bruce Cockburn, (pronounced "CO-burn"), has had a long and distinguished career with much success in his native Canada. His first albums were fairly straight ahead folk music spotlighting his brilliant guitar playing. In fact, there were a good number of instrumental guitar numbers on those early recordings. A Christian element came into his music around the time of the album Salt, Sun And Time, and over time his writing has taken on a stronger and stronger political orientation.

The Last Poets

The Last Poets are a spoken word/poetry group which formed in 1968 in Harlem, New York City, New York, United States. Spoken Word, Poetry group from New York, NY. The Last Poets is a group of poets and musicians who arose from the late 1960s African American civil rights movement's black nationalist thread. Their name is taken from a poem by the South African revolutionary poet Keorapetse Kgositsile, who believed he was in the last era of poetry before guns would take over.

Luke Wright

Luke Wright is one of the UK’s leading stand-up poets.
