The Swiss

1. In a time when everyone who isn’t Crookers is claiming to be a “disco act”, there is an insurmountable wash of pretenders. Adelaide trio The Swiss, however, are a legit live disco band whose existence is based entirely on flavour and good times rather than the Cobra Snake and fitted caps. The Bubble Bath EP on Modular Recordings is testament to what lies at the core lifestyle of The Swiss: crisp and snappy drums, quicksand lazer-sludge bass, dizzy pops & flourishes, melody rays and synthesised strings that glide on the thermal currents of life.

Telephoned was born one night in Brooklyn when DJ/producer Sammy Bananas and singer/party starter Maggie Horn decided to record their own version of T-Pain's "Can't Believe It." Their track was neither remix nor cover - instead, the duo fashioned a postmodern take on both, warping the original beat into a hypnotic club track and bringing out the dreamy qualities only hinted at in Pain's auto-tuned melodies.

Echo Park

There are at least 2 artists with the name Echo Park. 1. Echo Park (real name Brian Gibbs) is an American electronic musician based in Santiago, Chile. In 2011 he was signed to dubstep producer Skream's Disfigured Dubz and is set to release his first single on the label titled "Fiber Optic" on October 3, 2011. He has previously produced techno under the pseudonym Gunjack, releasing an album called "Return to Form", as well as chilean hip-hop as Lester Diamond.

Drumming on all kinds of household equipment and jamming on the guitar until his fingers hurt, it was pretty clear that a path into music was set. When and how was not yet clear at that time. It was in 2003 that Karmon came into contact with electronic music through his older brother. At that time experimenting with different styles and setups with mild success it wasn ́t until early 2012 when the artist now known as Karmon was born.Having experienced various flows of electronic music he now set out to develop his own style and with great success.
