Peter Grant is a British singer who achieved success in early 2006 with his debut album New Vintage. He began singing at around the age of six or seven and played at working men's clubs from the age of 13. His first album New Vintage was released in April 2006 and entered at number 8 in the British album charts, largely thanks to his chat show appearances with Michael Parkinson and Davina McCall. His second album Traditional was released on 17 September 2007.
Tanghetto is a Buenos Aires-based band that focuses its material in the combination of Argentine tango with electronic music, jazz and other musical genres. The “Tanghetto sound” is rather unique; it's a fusion of diverse sources of inspiration, both contemporary and traditional, that converge in Buenos Aires with the bandoneon (the nostalgic and characteristic instrument of the tango). Bandoneon takes the singer's role and is surrounded by diverse acoustic instruments and a sonic wall of synths and samplers.
Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister are an Austrian duo most known for their downtempo-dub remixes of pop, hip-hop, and drum and bass songs. The project, 'Brujo's Bowl'. Is the alias of Saxon Higgs. A young talented musician and producer from mid Wales (UK). Saxon started out by playing about with various instruments when he was a teenager, playing in bands and organising jam sessions in the depths of the wild welsh countryside.
On the verge of leaving secondary school, Saxon and a few of his friends became heavily interested in electronic music. This was when dubstep had just hit the dancefloors, and still had it's unique non-commercial sound. Producers such as 2562 had a large impact on Saxon's ears.
