There are three artists that use the name NON: 1) Under the name NON, originally with second member Robert Turman, Boyd Rice has recorded several seminal noise music albums, and collaborated with experimental music/dark folk artists like Current 93, Death in June, Rose McDowall and with Coil as Sickness of Snakes. Most of his music has been released on the Mute Records label. Rice has also collaborated with Foetus, Z'ev, Frank Tovey, Tony Wakeford of Sol Invictus, Douglas P. of Death in June and Michael Moynihan of Blood Axis.

Ian Read founded Fire + Ice in 1991 after several years as a member of Sol Invictus. According to their sole website, "The heartlessness of the modern commercial consumer society ruins the lives of many. FIRE + ICE takes the purity and philosophy of early music and melds it into a message redolent with powerful seeds of honour, truth, loyalty and the bond of true friendship." Kettel is Reimer Eising (born 1982), a self-described "elixir-brewing, camping-loving and musicmaking sorcerer-to-be." He is well-known for his playful, spontaneous melodies and organic folk sounds similar to Aphex Twin, Jega, and Plaid. Kettel has frequently performed live in his home country of the Netherlands, including at the Virus festival in Eindhoven, the Dutch Electronic Arts Festival in Rotterdam, and at Eurosonic and Noorderzon in his home town of Groningen. He has also collaborated on several projects of various remixes and compilations on his many record labels.

Pain Jerk (Japanese; ????????) is a noise music unit run by Japanese musician Kohei Gomi. Pain Jerk was one of the more prolific and influential noise artists of the 1990s, and is one of the leading figures in the "dynamic" style of Japanese noise, alongside acts such as Merzbow and Kazumoto Endo. Gomi is also the owner of the noise label AMP, and a member, along with T. Mikawa and F. Kosakai of Incapacitants, of the noise supergroup Gomikawa Fumio.
