Terri Lyne Carrington

Terri Lyne Carrington (born in Medford, Massachusetts in 1965) is a world-renowned drummer, composer, producer and clinician. At seven, she was given her first set of drums, which had belonged to her grandfather, Matt Carrington. He had played with Fats Waller and Chu Berry. After studying privately for three years, she played her first major performance at the Wichita Jazz Festival with Clark Terry. At age 11 she received a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music. At 12 years old she was profiled on the PBS kids' biography program Rebop.

Gavin Harrison

A psychologist of rhythm no less, born in Harrow, North London; Harrison's early influences stem from his father's jazz collection. Besides playing on records by Kevin Ayers, [Lisa Stansfield, and Iggy Pop, Harrison produced two books, Rhythmic Illusions and Rhythmic Perspectives, and replaced Chris Maitland in Porcupine Tree. Most recently he has joined King Crimson.

BADBADNOTGOOD is pianist Matt Tavares, bassist Chester Stone Hansen, and drummer Alex Sowinski, who is usually seen wearing a pig mask. The trio met at Humber College in Toronto, Canada and bonded over their mutual musical interests—OFWGKTA, Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka Flame. Fusionmetal - A relatively new and unexplored genre in the world of metal. Exivious isn't an over the top math metal band and certainly isn't a loungy jazz combo either. But expect everything in between! With a jazzfusion backbone Exivious uses freaky metal riffs to decorate their organic eruption of free improvisations and complex rhythms. Parallel or 90 Degrees

Parallel or 90 Degrees was formed in the year 1996 by Andy Tillison Diskdrive and Sam Baine. Those two members form the core of the group and have released five albums and a live video. Their first album was entitled Sanctum/Acoustic Lens and was followed by The Corner of My Room. Their next release, Afterlifecycle, came out in 1997 and was both their first CD release and the first release on Cyclops.

Naked City was an music group from New York City, New York, United States led by and John Zorn, performed from 1988 to 1993. The ensemble was notable for remaining unconfined to any musical category, juxtaposing unrelated styles of music often within individual compositions at breakneck speed. Its music incorporated recognizable elements of , , , , , , and other genres. Carl Stalling has been cited as an influence on Zorn and the work of Naked City.
