The Triumphs

The Triumphs, an instrumental precursor group to Booker T & The MGswere assembled in 1961 by producer/songwriter Chips Moman in Memphis TN. He recorded recorded them at Stax headquarters in the old Capitol Theater on McLemore Avenue. They were the first release for the Volt label. and they were also apparently the first inter-racial group in the then segregated city. Joining Moman on guitar duties was Booker T Jones on Hammond organ, Lewie Steinberg on bass and drummer Howard 'Bulldog' Grimes, who later would go on to anchor Hi-Records rhythm section.

The So So Glos

The So So Glos are a Punk influenced Rock and Roll Band from the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Two of the band members are brothers and one is a step-brother. In 2008 they co-founded the Market Hotel venue with promoter Todd P. They have toured excessively in the United States and Canada and have opened for ...Trail of Dead and The Virgins in Europe. Currently they are working on new material for a 2010 release.

The Blue Orchids

The Blue Orchids were formed in 1979 in Manchester, England by Martin Bramah and Una Baines, both formerly of The Fall. They were joined by Rick Goldstraw, guitar, Steve Toyne on bass and Joe Kin on drums. With this line up, they recorded the singles "The Flood" and "Work" for rough trade records.
The group underwent a series of personnel changes before the release of their album "The Greatest Hit (Money Mountain" (1981), which faetured Bramah, Baines (keyboards), Goldstraw (now on bass) and Toby Toman on drums. This line up also released an ep, "Agents of Change" in 1982.

The Hangmen

1) Garage band from the 60`s 2) For a frighteningly long time The Hangmen have been creating & developing a punk/rockabilly hybrid under the generic term of ‘Psychobilly’.
The band has gigged and toured consistently throughout - releasing no less than six albums along with countless compilation appearances, singles and even the odd motion picture cameo.
Having never ran with any pack they've pursued and evolved their raw hi-octane rock & roll formula with guts, distinction and attitude, becoming influential in the process.
