Sleazy but wry, cowpunk / hard rock that has some similarities to bands like Nashville Pussy and The Cramps but is more tongue-in-cheek. Know for their ferocious live shows, SixFtHick, portray their hometown, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia as if it was a separate country, with co-lead singer Geoff Corbett playing the role of a parochial Boss Hogg. The other singer, his brother, Ben Corbett plays the role of a disturbed Iggy Pop with an emphasis on physical self abuse.

Hailing from historic Krakow—where they throw an epic underground party of their own—they debuted on Trouble & Bass last year with a killer remix of Little Jinder’s “Polyhedron” that was supported by everyone from Diplo to Basement Jaxx, as well as reaching #1 in’s “Top 10 Late Night Bangers” chart.

There are at least eight bands called Sisters: 1) Sisters is a guitar/vocal and drums two piece out of the Death by Audio music collective in Brooklyn. Matt Conboy is the drummer, keyboard player. Aaron Pfannebecker sings and plays guitars. Sisters is the best of your 90’s rock pop collection with garage fallout. Noisy guitars with melody and screeching beautiful vocals over the hardest hitting drums. Crooked guitar sounds creating fragmented pop songs. ---
