Really no different than The Stooges, but the artist name changed to Iggy and the Stooges (to make frontman Iggy Pop's name more conspicuous as he was clearly the most recognizable name in the band) for the 1973 album Raw Power and the live document of songs culled from two shows (including their final live performance in their original incarnation in February 1974) called Metallic K.O. A visual cross between the leather bondage movie “Cruising” and the raunchy retro-fuelled imagery of early John Waters movies like “Desperate Living,” San Francisco’s Hunx and his Punx (one of whom is Justin “Nobunny” & another of former Gravy Train!!!!) have injected humor, imagination and fun into their prodigious multimedia output, which includes records and videos. Hunx’s bouncy pop sound is equally cool, melding ‘60s-based bubblegum pop sensibilities with DIY garage prowess for a sticky-sweet aural assault.

Sharing a mutual love of roots, rhythm & blues (and cheap blended whiskey) Sam West, Calum McCann, Michael Law and Graham McGeoch formed soon-to-be internationally acclaimed band The Fortunate Sons in a smoky Glasgow West End flat in 2005. They cut their teeth in the wee hours jamming rhythm & blues in dark and dirty venues till the next morning when they picked up their coats and cases and moved on.

There are two bands calling themselves 'The Feelers.' The more established act is a New Zealand Rock band formed in the early 1990s in Christchurch by James Reid (singer/guitarist), Andy Lynch (lead guitar) Matt Short (Bass) and Hamish Gee (Drums). The Feelers got a record deal with Warner Music and released their first album, SuperSystem, in 1998. It was the second biggest selling album in New Zealand that year.
