Tall Black Guy was birthed from humble beginnings in Detroit, MI and homegrown on a diet of Motown, jazz and early hip-hop. He relocated to Illinois suburbia, where over a decade he has studied some of hip-hop’s greatest producers like; Dj Premier, J-Dilla, Madlib, Pete Rock, and Timberland. It all began in 2003. 2007 turned out to be especially successful - that's when Enei released his first record on the Dutch label Fokuz. That's when he also strated producing dubstep, which resulted in the second dubstep vinyl release in Russia, including one solo track and two co-produced tracks with Ka (aka Implex). More releases are coming on the biggest European labels, and more collaborations with producers from all over the world are taking place.

Dabrye (pronounced “DAB-ree”) is just one alias of Ghostly artist Tadd Mullinix, who explores with head-nodding beats and saw-tooth bass lines, with a keen eye to forward-thinking production and rhythms. There is more than one artist using the name HipGnosis: 1. HipGnosis is a US electronic music producer, Eric Young. With several releases under his belt, he creates psychedelic music similar in style to artists such as Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Burial, Harmonic 313, Machine Drum, and others. Owing to both a sample-based and synthesis-based creation method, HipGnosis achieves a balance between organic sounds and processed digitalia, remaining ever smooth in the process.

Son Lux

Son Lux is Ryan Lott. His debut recording, At War With Walls and Mazes (2008), earned him the title of "Best New Artist" by NPR's All Songs Considered. Emancipator

To some, it must seem like this young electronic producer came out of nowhere. Emancipator (Douglas Appling) played his first live show in July 2009, opening for Bonobo at the Roseland Theater (cap. 1500). Since then, he’s toured with Bassnectar, drawn crowds at festivals like Trinumeral and Symbiosis, and closed out Sound Tribe Sector 9’s late night parties in Denver at the request of the band.
