Poisoned Electrick Head
British Psychedelic Indie Rock band, formed in 1986 in St. Helens, Merseyside. Whilst active, the group was particularly distinctive; onstage, bandmembers would dress in black boiler-suits and wear "death masks", whilst album sleeves were adorned with H.R. Giger-esque artwork courtesy of bandmember ZaPeep. Both were abandoned circa 1997 as it was believed that these elements provided a barrier between the band and better things. They split up in 1998.
