Grzegorz Turnau

Grzegorz Turnau (born on July 31, 1967 in Kraków, Poland) - Polish composer, arranger, pianist poet and singer. Grzegorz Turnau created characteristic music style which binded to jazz, smooth-jazz and sometimes folk. In his music he uses such instruments as saxophone, pipe, hautboy, electric and acoustic guitars and also string instruments and complete rythm section (percussion, ethnic drumms and bass guitar).

Coma

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Coma is a Polish band, founded in 1998 in Łódź by Dominik Witczak (guitar) and Tomasz Stasiak (drums). The first album "Pierwsze Wyjście z Mroku" was released in 2004. After winning the Rock Festival in Węgorzewo the band became very popular in Poland. The second album, "Zaprzepaszczone Siły Wielkiej Armii Świętych Znaków" was released in May 2006.

Neil Hannon

Neil Hannon (born November 7, 1970) is a singer and songwriter, best known as the creator and lead member of the orchestral pop group The Divine Comedy. The band's official website even goes so far as to say, "The Divine Comedy is Neil Hannon," and Hannon is quoted in an interview as saying, "The Divine Comedy will always be my band because... I thought of it first!" In 2005 he contributed vocals to his long-time collaborator Joby Talbot's soundtrack for the movie version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Danny Cavanagh

Danny Cavanagh (born October 6, 1972) is a British guitarist and songwriter, one of the founding members of Anathema - a band that began in a style, before changing to a more -based sound. Danny also worked with Lid, Antimatter and Leafblade. In 2005, he released a Nick Drake tribute album, called "A Place to Be". He played several acoustic shows made of covers from Anathema or others artists alone, or as Danny & Vincent Cavanagh and Anneke van Giersbergen & Danny Cavanagh.

Brown Bird

Brown Bird is an American acoustic band. Pulling from the influences of the blues, outlaw country, roots rock, early American folk, Gypsy and Eastern European music, Brown Bird offers harmonized voices, haunting lyrics and diverse rhythm and instrumentation, which surges in waves that often swell into high-spirited, foot-stomping madness. Brown Bird began in 2003, and has since toured extensively, including a European stint supporting RI-based band The Low Anthem. Krzysztof Penderecki

Krzysztof Penderecki (born November 23, 1933 in D?bica) is a Polish composer and conductor. His 1960 avant-garde Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima for string orchestra brought him to international attention, and this success was followed by acclaim for his choral St. Luke Passion. Both these works exhibit novel compositional techniques. Since the 1970s Penderecki's style has changed to encompass a post-Romantic idiom.

Silent Scream

There was more than one band named Silent Scream. One of them was a hardcore band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin that was around from about 1987 to about 1989.
