Giant Steps

GIANT STEPS - London, UK. Formed in the early part of 2010, Giant Steps are a four-piece Soul Rock band from London, UK. Originally known as Beggars, they decided to begin a new project after replacing a leaving member. In the Summer of 2010 Giant Steps completed the recording of five tracks with producer Mike Crossey. Autumn 2010 they have been selected to perform on the Jo Whiley New Music Tour in the UK.

Rick Springfield (born Richard Lewis Springthorpe; 23 August 1949) is an Australian , musician, and actor. He was a member of pop rock group Zoot from 1969 to 1971 and then started his solo career with his début single "Speak to the Sky" reaching the top 10 in Australia. In mid-1972, he relocated to the United States. He had a No. 1 hit with "Jessie's Girl" in 1981 in both Australia and the US.

Coney Hatch

Coney Hatch was a Canadian rock band in the 1980s. Based in Toronto, Ontario, the band consisted of vocalist and guitarist Carl Dixon who would also go on to play with April Wine for several years, vocalist and bassist Andy Curran, guitarist Steve Shelski and drummer Dave Ketchum. Edwards decided to shorten her name to Skye by taking the first letter of each of her names (Shirley Klarisse Yonavive) and putting them together. She has also sung on two charity collaborations, Perfect Day 1997, in aid of BBC Children in Need and Band Aid 20, in 2004, in aid of famine relief in Sudan, Africa. Edwards has two children, a son and a daughter.

Sweet Honey in the Rock is an all-woman, African-American a cappella ensemble that has been producing music for more than thirty years. Although the members of the group have changed over time, the music of Sweet Honey in the Rock has consistently combined contemporary rhythms and narratives with a musical style rooted in the gospel music, spirituals and hymns of the Black church. Sweet Honey in the Rock was founded in 1973 by Bernice Johnson Reagon who formed the group out of the strongest singers from a vocal workshop she was teaching with the D.
