Jennifer Batten

Jennifer Batten is a guitarist who first received word-of-mouth attention that eventually led guitar magazines to take notice of her highly original approach to the electric guitar. On Guitar Player Monthly's premier compilation CD, John Stix wrote, "It was Jennifer's version of John Coltrane's "Giant Steps" that was considered by her peers the "scariest and most requested cut on the disc." At one point Batten was in six different bands playing many genres including rock, metal, fusion and funk.

Roger Sutcliffe

There isn't much of information on this British blues guitar player and singer to be found. He's not to be found on the big stages, but plays at pubs and the like. Yet he's an oldschooler in the best sense of the word - his style of playing the guitar is nothing but amazing, due to about 40 years of experience. It's classic blues performed perfectly and with great passion.
Some scraps of information and a list of released albums can be found at Folker (German language only, sorry).
