The Duchesses sound is the manifestation of four musicians from very different backgrounds. Their broad spectrum of influences is evident in their atmospheric music, which transcends arbitrary genres. Not satisfied with following trends, the Duchesses have forged their own unique sound. Their debut album guides listeners through a dark sonic landscape of resonating guitars, bold rhythms and dynamic vocals, all surging into intricate and aggressive harmony.

Section 25 were formed in Blackpool, Lancashire, United Kingdom in November 1977. Initially they were a duo, consisting of brothers Larry Cassidy (bass, vocals) and Vincent Cassidy (drums). In June 1978 they made their live debut, and in November were joined by guitarist Paul Wiggin. Their debut 7", Girls Don't Count, was released in 1980 on Factory Records, produced by Rob Gretton and Ian Curtis of Joy Division. All Section 25 releases would be released through Factory Records. Their debut LP, Always Now, was released in 1981 and produced by Martin Hannett.

The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die are an atmospheric emo / indie rock band from Willimantic, CT. The band was formed in 2009 and has undergone several lineup changes since its inception. TWIABP's now 8 piece lineup writes the songs collaboratively and often on-the-spot with vocal duties shared by 4 members. The band's sound is easily compared to second wave post-emo indie rock bands of the late 90s and early 2000s and their atmospheric moments are often tagged as "post-rock.

Paper Arms are a melodic punk rock band from Adelaide, Australia. Founded by vocalist/guitarist Josh Mann in 2007, the band have released one self-titled EP in 2008 and their debut album, Days Above Ground, in 2010. The latter was produced and recorded by Walter Schreifels of Rival Schools.
