Tim Easton

Tim Easton (born 1966 in Akron, Ohio) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Easton formed the band Kosher Spears while at college. In the 1996 Easton joined The Haynes Boys. When they split up, Easton embarked on a solo career, with his debut album, Special 20, released in 1998. He subsequently relocated to California, signed a deal with EMI Publishing, and a record deal with New West Records.

She thought he had issues with women. Still she agreed to come and sing some harmony with him at his little damp North London apartment. Cory Branan

Cory Branan is a singer/songwriter, born in Southaven, Mississippi. He garnered comparisons to Ryan Adams, Pete Yorn, and Bright Eyes' Conor Oberst with the release of his 2002 debut album The Hell You Say. By his teens, Branan was playing hard rock and heavy metal, eventually fronting a Black Sabbath cover band. In his early 20s he began to explore the music of John Prine, a move which urged him to pick up a guitar and start writing songs.

The Slow Show

The Slow Show are a recently formed Manchester based band with a dynamic, warm, beautiful organic sound that has many references to American alt folk rock but with a distinctive Northern English touch. Their critically acclaimed debut EP Midnight Waltz displays their carefully crafted musicianship and lush melodic songwriting. The diverse instrumentation, in particular the use of a colliery type brass band sound, adds an extra dimension to their music.

Binary Band

Binary Band is formed of the sparring vocal harmonies, dobro (slide guitar) and harmonium (missionary organ) of Ali Thoburn and Billy Tudor, and complimented by the occasional electric piano and pieces of catgut, dusty wood and rusty metal. The resulting sound is an earthy, wide-screen brew of American roots, English psychedelia, film soundtracks, North African blues and Far Eastern influences that brings to mind Neil Young, The Low Anthem, Peter Gabriel, The Band, Tinariwen and Traffic.

Grant-Lee Phillips

Grant-Lee Phillips is best known as the voice and vision of the critically acclaimed group Grant Lee Buffalo, which existed from 1992 to 1999. Grant is also seen regularly in the television series Gilmore Girls as Star Hollow's local busker. He does not sing his own songs on the show - mostly covers of other musicians; usually in the background as the main characters are passing. Phillips spent his formative years in Stockton, CA, where he founded a band called Bloody Holly, but prior to his 20th birthday Phillips headed to Los Angeles to study film...

Patrick Sweany

Patrick Sweany (b. April 1974) is a Blues-rock musician from Massillon, Ohio. Patrick Sweany first gained prominence in the late 1990's as an acoustic blues guitarist and singer at many Blues Festivals around the U.S. His first CD I Wanna Tell You was released in 1999 and drew critical acclaim from prominent musicians such as Roy Book Binder and Jimmy Thackery. In 2001, Patrick formed an electric trio called simply The Patrick Sweany Band.

Dan Tyminski

Dan Tyminski (b. June 20, 1967) is a bluegrass composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist. He is a member of the band Alison Krauss and Union Station and has released a solo album entitled Carry Me Across the Mountain (2000) on the Doobie Shea Records label. He is likely best known for the song "Man of Constant Sorrow," which was featured in the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? and won the 2001 CMA award for best single as well as a Grammy Award for best Country Collaboration with Vocals (along with Harley Allen and Pat Enright, filling out the vocals for the movie's Soggy Bottom Boys).

Junior Johnson

Junior Johnson is an Americana/Folk singer/songwriter from Randalstown, Northern Ireland. He has shared the stage with Shane MacGowan, Sean Cannon (The Dubliners), Frankie Miller’s Full House band and Irish multi-platinum rockers, Ash. Junior was honoured with the title of L.A. Music Awards "Folk Artist of the Year" 2006 for his song The Fireside, an honest detailing of the life that a once unfortunate friend leads now.
