Prince Rama

Spawned from the vernal heat of the Florida swamps amidst swirling
patterns of pine orchards and pre-Columbian artifacts, Prince Rama was
whispered into the ears of Taraka Larson, Nimai Larson,
and Michael Collins in the summer of 2007 by the clanging of prayer
bells and goat-skin drums. They left the Hare Krishna farm where they
were staying to go to art school and form a creative nucleus in
Boston. There, their engaging and often unpredictable ritualistic live

Born on the ashes of the legendary Houston Schlong Weasel, it included John Cramer (vocals, guitar), Tom Carter (vocals, guitar), Scott Grimm (bass), Curt Mackey (drums). Mike Gunn is the name of the Schlong Weasel musician who named the band but never played in it.

The Michael Flower Band

The duo of Michael Flower and John Moloney (known from Sunburned Hand of the Man) issued an EP under this monicker on the Manhand label that was reissued as part of Three Lobed Recordings "Oscillation III"-series in 2008. Dubbed by the label as "biker psych for the third eye rider" it featured three extra live tracks not on the original issue.

Underground avant-garde alternative rock band of the 1980s and 1990s. Originally based in Amherst, Massachusetts at Hampshire College, and at times also based in New York City, Seattle and Los Angeles. Arose in the same college musical scene that gave birth to Dinosaur Jr and also associated with the early grunge movement, especially the Seattle grunge bands including Nirvana. Known for four albums, very noisy concerts and band members' disputatious and disruptive attitude.

Matteah Baim is a folk musician from New York, United States. She began writing music with Sierra Casady in 2005 for Metallic Falcons. After the band disbanded, she continued with a solo career in 2006, releasing her first solo album Death of the Sun in 2007. Matteah's music is described as disparate, haunted folk that roll over your senses like desert clouds.
