Doomriders
Boston's DOOMRIDERS are sonically antisocial and undeniably unforgettable as they come. DOOMRIDERS are comprised of a stellar lineup featuring Nate Newton (Converge, Old Man Gloom), along with longtime friends Jebb Riley (There Were Wires, Disappearer), Chris Pupecki (Cast Iron Hike), and JR Conners (Cave In). Church of Misery
Church Of Misery (チャーチ・オブ・ミザリ) is a japanese doom metal band with a specific extra-groovy sound that is often described as "stoner doom" but the band tends to snub this term saying "We hate trend. We hate corporate attitude. We hate the word 'stoner'. Death to false stoners!! Let there be DOOM!!" (citation from the Master of Brutality album cover artwork notes).
Band was formed in 1996 in Tokyo by bassist Tatsu Mikami (ex-Salem) and guitarist Tomohiro Nishimura, line-up was completed with singer Nobukazu Chow and drummer Hideki Shimizu.

Goatsnake
Goatsnake is an American doom metal band from Los Angeles, California. Goatsnake was formed in 1996 from the ashes of The Obsessed. After The Obsessed's demise, the rhythm section consisting of Guy Pinhas (former bassist of the Dutch stonerband Beaver) on bass and Greg Rogers on drums began jamming with guitarist Greg Anderson (Thorr's Hammer, Burning Witch, Sunn O)))). They soon found a vocalist in Pete Stahl (Scream, Wool, earthlings?, Desert Sessions). Goatsnake recorded and released two 7" EPs in 1998 and were featured on several metal compilations.

Acid King
Acid King is a stoner doom band that was formed 1993 in San Francisco, California, USA. Acid King's signature is distortion, tight guitar-bass riff attacks and a Marshall-stacked, bloated low rear end. Ampeg bass amps and Osbourne's Ludwig drum kit supplemented the heaviness accordingly. Heavy but spacey. Lori's searing guitar leads contrasted nicely with her nefarious vocal stylings. People appreciated something different and distinctive, enthusiastically supporting Acid King's opening slots for the likes of The Obsessed, Sleep and Hawkwind.

Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats
Formed in the old wastelands of witchery and paranoia, Cambridgeshire band Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats deliver the new sound of 60s terror. This popular beat combo crawled from its secluded hideout in 2009 to record their debut album, 'Vol. 1' for Killer Candy Records. With a limited release in 2010, the album was warmly received with the track 'Witches Garden' appearing on a Classic Rock Magazine cover CD. The band also drew the attention of Leif Edling from legendary doom band Candlemass, who would later recommend them to Lee Dorrian at Rise Above.

Indian
There are at least three bands called Indian: 1) A Chicago-based doom metal band. Born in different parts of country, brewed in the depths of Chicago, Indian have grown to be chiefs of doom in the Midwest and around the U.S. since their first show in early 2003. Their slow-sludge guitars, demon-esque vocals and mad smart rhythms make the three piece pure sophisticated evil. Indian's first recording, Godslave, released in 2004, quickly became an underground favorite for doomers across the country.

Samothrace initially came together out of friendship made through involvement in DIY Punk/Hardcore/Metal community. Although currently based in Seattle, Washington, their hometowns span from New Mexico, Kansas and Oklahoma. Their lyrics, albeit poetic, are rooted in the ideals of social change, political incoherence, and a bleak but positive outlook on life... intended for those who've taken back their breath and risen on their own and those who wish to do so.
