Clipse is a critically acclaimed hip hop duo that formed in Norfolk, Virginia in 1992. The duo is made up of brothers Gene "Malice" Thornton and Terrence "Pusha T" Thornton, who is also currently signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music label. They met Pharrell, of the producing duo, The Neptunes, in 1993, he formed a working relationship with the duo and helped them secure a contract with Elektra Records.

Because of the biblical references in many of their songs, Pedro the Lion were seen by some to be a Christian band, but they did not consider the band to be such. Chiodos is an American post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan, formed in 2001. Originally known as "The Chiodos Bros." the band's name was a tribute to filmmakers Stephen, Charles, and Edward Chiodo, responsible for the movie Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Their second full length album, Bone Palace Ballet, was released in North America on September 4, 2007 and debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and number 1 on Top Independent Albums. Warner Bros. Records released Bone Palace Ballet on January 26, 2009, as part of a new distribution deal in the UK.
Emery is a post-hardcore/rock band currently signed to Tooth & Nail Records. They have performed at the Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, Illinois, and they have performed on the Warped Tour lineup, they also accompanied Underoath on their Australian tour in June 2007. They were also featured at Spirit West Coast's "Rock the Park" festival in Chino, California. Beginning in South Carolina, Emery was formed when the six recent college graduates decided to pursue music full-time.

Glass Cloud is an American progressive metalcore band from Hampton, Virginia formed in 2011 by Jerry Roush, Joshua Travis, Travis Sykes, and Chad Hasty in late 2011. Lead vocalist Roush was formerly the vocalist of Sky Eats Airplane and Of Mice & Men, while Joshua Travis was also the guitarist for the djent band The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza until 2012.The band released their debut album, The Royal Thousand on July 10 on EQUAL VISION RECORDS.
