Born in 1962, Juana Molina is an Argentinian singer/songwriter and actress. Following the military coup in Argentina of 1976, Molina's family fled the country and lived in exile in Paris for six years. She grew up in a musical environment and her tango-singing father taught her guitar when she was 5. Juana Molina started her career in 1988 as a comedic television actress in Argentina on the show La Noticia Rebelde. She later starred in Juana y sus hermanas, a hit sketch show across the Spanish-speaking world, for which she remains better known in Latin America.
Los Fabulosos Cadillacs are a latin-rock band from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Formed in 1985, they released their first album, Bares y Fondas (Bars and Boardinghouses) in 1986. Since then they have released fourteen more albums. The band's sound is a mix of rock, ska, jazz, salsa, folk, rap and big band. The lineup has changed throughout the years, but the core members have always been the co-founders: singer Gabriel Fernandez Capello (known as Vicentico) and bassist Flavio Cianciaurlo (known as Sr. Flavio). Vicentico and Sr. Flavio have done the majority of the songwriting and lyrics as well.

Mariela Vitale a.k.a. Emme (born December 20, 1982) is a pop/r&b singer, songwriter, producer, dancer and actress from Buenos Aires, Argentina, daughter of renowned composers Lito Vitale and Verónica Condomí. She has released one album to date: "Femme"(2003) and three singles: "Ahora"("Now"), "Latino" and "Tu y Yo"("You and Me"), she has also released another limited edition single called "Rompeme"("Break Me") that was only available by purchasing the May, 2006 issue of the argentinean edition of Playboy magazine in which she was featured on the cover...
There are Multiple bands named Bauer: 1. Bauer was a pop duo from Amsterdam (years active: 1999-2006) comprised of former Bettie Serveert drummer Berend Dubbe and Sonja van Hamel. Their graciously arranged pop is strongly influenced by artists such as Brian Wilson, Burt Bacharach, Stereolab and Scott Walker. The Dutch Bauer released three studio albums: On The Move (1999), Can't Stop Singing (2000) and Baueresque (2004). Their last album was a live album with Amsterdam's Metropole Orchestra, entitled The Bauer Melody of 2006.
Nairobi is a dub band based in Argentina. They approach dub from diverse perspectives, delivering a massive shamanic impact, they create vibrant climates and fresh interpretations of the genre. Performing at big festivals (like Creamfields and Earth Day) as well as slummy venues in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Nairobi cuts through the heat and trance of live music. Wu Wei, their debut album, was mixed at Ariwa Studios by Mad Professor.
