Amiina

Amiina (formerly Amína) is a string quartet from Reykjavík, Iceland: María Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir (violin), Hildur Ársælsdóttir (violin), Edda Rún Ólafsdóttir (viola) and Sólrún Sumarliðadóttir (cello). The group makes music with a great number of instruments - synth, piano, electric and baroque guitar, celtic harp, harmonium, melodica, celesta, glockenspiel, gideon harp, call bells (also called "office" or "reception" bells), glass harp, kalimba, mandolin, and musical saw played with a bow.

Minamo

There are two different artists under the name Minamo: An electro-acoustic rock group and a Free Jazz/Classical Duo. 1. In 1999, the electro-acoustic group Minamo was formed by Keiichi Sugimoto and Tetsuro Yasunaga. In 2000, minamo's self-released CD-R "wakka" was reissued by the New York label Quakebasket. This release was selected by Matmos as one of best sounds in 2001 in The Wire magazine.
In 2001 two new members joined, Yuiichiro Iwashita (guitar) and Namiko Sasamoto (sax, organ), to make the band a quartet. In 2002, first CD album ".kgs" has released by the Tokyo label 360 records.

Balmorhea

Balmorhea, pronounced Bal-moor-ay, is a band from Austin, Texas. Formed in 2006 by Rob Lowe and Michael Muller, members also include Aisha Burns (violin), Nicole Kern (cello), and Travis Chapman (double bass). They self-released their first album, Balmorhea, in April 2007 and followed up with Rivers Arms in February 2008. Balmorhea have toured the US three times and released a limited edition, hand numbered Tour EP at the end of 2008.

Bloodnut

Bloodnut are a Scottish stoner rock band from Aberdeen, formed by some of the former members of Radio Lucifer. The band comprises of Justin on vocals and guitar, Pete on lead guitar, Oggy on drums and Robb on bass.
