Giants

There are at least 7 artists titled Giants.. One is a late sixties/early seventies krautrock act who recorded the track 'He He Ho' that is featured on the 1987 "Kraut! Demons! Kraut!' collection. The next is a house/disco house producer releasing one 12" vinyl in the early 1990s. The next is a funk/soul band releasing a self-titled full length on MCA Records in 1978. Another is a disco/funk band releasing a 12" vinyl in 1979 on Polydor.

Menomena

Menomena are an experimental rock band from Portland, Oregon, made up of Brent Knopf on guitar, keyboards, and glockenspiel; Justin Harris on bass, guitar, baritone sax and alto sax; and Danny Seim on percussion. All members of the band share singing duties. The band formed in late 2000, when Knopf graduated from Dartmouth College and returned to Portland to collaborate with Harris and Seim. They played their first show in July 2001, at The Meow Meow, a now-defunct all ages venue in Portland.

Axxonn

AXXONN takes all things beautiful - unicorns, showbags, stolen pens, J-Pop - and mashes it into shit, noise, dirt and distortion to come up with what can only be described as a mix between 'Powernoise & Icecream'. Lulling listeners into a false sense of security at times, AXXONN's aim is to transverse a number of genres, picking, choosing and using their favourite facets of black metal, doom metal, ambiance, electro and pop to create a cacophony of sound that feels like a rainbow sawing through your cranium (in a good way).

Totally Unicorn

Just as the Hunt Of The Unicorn was considered by many to be the high point in Medieval tapestry manufacture, so will history recognize the bearded magical animal metal of Wollongong's latest fantastical four headed Chimera, Totally Unicorn be considered to be the watermark for musicians that are both hirsute and technically gifted when it comes to bringing a party that is part wall of crushing noise, part pithy word play and all monstrously enjoyable.

Mimas

Mimas is a Danish death indie act (in their own words) from Aarhus, Denmark. The band consists of Daniel Malling Beck (guitars, choir), Gert Jørgensen (bass, choir), Lasse Dahl (drums, choir) and Icelandic born Snævar Njáll Albertsson (guitars, vocals and trumpet).
In 2005 they released the EP 'Hands Will Carry', which earned them a place at the Roskilde Festival.
Since then they've toured England five times. They went on their first European tour in June 2009 and will follow up with tours in England and other European countries later in the year.

5) an electro-popartist from Holland 1) Pez was formed in December 1993 by Ariel Minimal on Guitar and Voice, together with the Barbieri brothers (Poli on drums and Alez on bass). The project is a hard, experimental Rock trio that started to play on the Buenos Aires circuit in 1994.
