Eliza Doolittle

Placed on the planet to make music, that's exactly what she's been doing since the age of ten. Now, with a whole heap of records under her belt, we think it's probably catch-up time... Writing as a solo singer, Eliza currently works with a full live line-up including bass, drums, keyboards and guitar. Finished tracks combine tatty tinkling on the ivories with sleek programming on the keys, resulting in a slick groove without compromising Eliza's back to basics authenticity.

Ex Libris

There are at least two bands with the name Ex Libris. One of them is a sludge/stoner metal band from Wilmington, Germany. This article is about the Dutch one with this name.
The Dutch band Ex Libris brings new power and a fresh, exciting sound to the world of symphonic heavy metal. Combining the melodic structure of classical music with progressive licks and hooks, Ex Libris delivered their first full-length album “Amygdala” in 2008 to great reviews. Frontwoman Dianne van Giersbergen combines powerful, soaring vocals with a dynamic range that is, frankly, intimidating.
