Blackwater may refer to at least 3 artists:
1) a French group of Celtic music caracterized for its energic sound and accurate control over the instruments. See http://www.lesonotone.com/blackwater/ and http://www.myspace.com/blackwateririshconnection. 2) a deathmetal band from the cold north. Inspired by bands like Kataklysm, Hate Eternal, Bloodbath, Behemoth etc... 3) A London-based classic rock band comprising Tommy Balaam (vocals/guitar), George McKenzie (Guitar), Rory Murphy (Vocals/bass) and Bryce Dunn (Drums).

The Be Good Tanyas are an acoustic trio with folk and americana influences, hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. They play a combination of original and traditional material, and are notable for their lush vocal harmonies. The group features Frazey Ford (guitar, vocals), Samantha Parton (guitar, mandolin, banjo, vocals) and Trish Klein (electric guitar, banjo, harmony vocals). Jolie Holland is a former member and also a frequent guest.

Madredeus is a Portuguese band whose music combines fado influences with modern folk music. The band's founding members were Pedro Ayres Magalhães (Classical guitar), Rodrigo Leão (keyboard synthesizer), Francisco Ribeiro (cello) and Teresa Salgueiro (vocals). Magalhães and Leão formed the band in 1985, Ribeiro joined in 1986. They'd been searching for a female singer, and found Teresa Salgueiro in one of Lisbon's night clubs. Teresa liked their music and agreed to join, so in 1987 Madredeus recorded their first album, Os dias da Madredeus.

Hailing from the Rock of Gibraltar and now based in London, Guy has been writing and performing since an early age. From the age of 16 he fronted gibraltarian indie/alternative band Blackout which received a lot of interest form the spanish music industry and asked to translate his lyrics to spanish to receive full label support. After a deal with Sony Spain fell through he decided to only write in his maternal language-english.Guy and the band soon relocated to the UK, but eventually each member went their different ways and Guy began performing and writing as a solo artist.
