Ricky Warwick

Ricky Warwick is probably best known as the frontman for the United Kingdom band The Almighty. Starting out as a rhythm guitarist in New Model Army, Ricky formed The Almighty in 1988. Ricky Warwick was the lead vocalist and played guitar in the short-lived band (sic) in 1997. Ricky Warwick is good friends with singer Joe Elliot, having performed backup vocals on Def Leppard albums whilst Joe has returned the favour on his. In 2006 joined the band Circus Diablo with Billy Duffy (The Cult). ==Albums==

Toby Sligo

Born in a fishing village in England, Toby Sligo is an artist who cites his influences as The Velvet Underground, Mississippi John Hurt and poet Arthur Rimbaud. Writing and performing his own songs, Toby Sligo released his first EP in 2007 which was titled ‘As Pure As The Thames’ and produced by Richard Coombes. The EP was well received and Sligo was praised for the amalgamation of styles, as well as his venture to push the boundaries of acoustic guitar-based blues music by incorporating an electric twist on the vocals.

Watershed

Watershed (US) is an alternative rock band based in Columbus, OH. The band's sound is heavily influenced by early classic rock, especially The Kinks, whom the band regularly covers during live performances. Watershed consists of Colin Gawel (guitar, vocals), Joe Oestreich (bass, vocals), Dave Masica (Drums), and Mark "Poochie" Borror (guitar). The band's two most recent albums, The More it Hurts the More it Works (2002) and The 5th of July (2005) have recieved national attention, with "Can't Be Myself," the lead single from The More it Hurts.

Rob Warren is a 21 year old singer-songwriter based in Amsterdam and London. His style is bold and his lyrics are honest - 'I'm not sure why, but for some reason I believe everything he sings'. Summer 2010 sees the release of 'Rise', the debut EP from Rob. Rise is a 5 track e.p. written and recorded in Amsterdam during early 2010. The songs are a mix of pensiveness and optimism drawn from real personal experiences; they are sweetened by vocals from Iranzu Baker, a singer whom Rob met in Amsterdam during the writing of the EP.

Laura Veirs

Laura Veirs is an American singer-songwriter. She grew up in Colorado, where she often spent summers camping with her family, which gave her much of her song-writing inspiration. She recently transplanted to Portland, Oregon from Seattle, Washington. Veirs has said that she didn't seriously listen to music until she was in her 20s; instead, she just heard what was in her environment. She listened to folk, country, classical and pop music around the house and on the radio during her youth.

David McCaffrey

As the U.K. acoustic scene begins to flourish with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Laura Marling making its mark, it seems the perfect time for the 17-year-old David McCaffrey to take to the floor. Having previously played alongside Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Misty Miller, C.W. Stoneking and David Ford, it seems McCaffrey has already experienced sharing the stage with the U.K.'s biggest up-and-coming artists, so early on in his musical career. A self-taught guitarist, he began creating new sounds at the age of 14, before quickly entering into the York music scene.
