Zombie Militia are a Heavy Metal band based in Inverness. Drawing influence from a lot of great bands and people from all over. The key words to describe the Zombie Militia sound are definitely OLD and SCHOOL. No nonsense, in your face, break your neck head-banging sort of stuff. A lifelong drummer, Mark Ayling has now branched out into the world of acoustic music, playing his own brand of raw acoustic guitar combined with direct and uncompromising lyrics. Discarding the usual Folk/Acoustic influences such as Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie, Mark finds his inspiration from bands as diverse as The Jam, The Specials, New Model
Army, The Clash, Motorhead and Joy Division, creating a sound that has the energy of Punk whilst retaining the melodic elements of the acoustic guitar.

Ex Wives are two divorced women and a drum machine. Despite the obvious heartache and mistrust of men, they have bonded closely to make loud, noisy music; all of which is loosely based on the film Disclosure, starring Michael Douglas and Demi Moore. It's like Le Tigre, but with less facial hair.

1. John Paul Young, is an Australian pop singer, known primarily for his worldwide hit Love Is In The Air. Born on June 21, 1950, in Glasgow, Scotland, his family relocated to Sydney when he was aged 11. After forming the band Elm Tree with schoolmates in 1967, he was discovered by renowned talent manager Simon Napier-Bell, who convinced his to sign as a solo artist with Albert Productions. It was here he began his long association with songwriters and record producers Harry Vanda and George Young of The Easybeats.
