There are multiple artists with this name: Apollo was formed in 1969. They released one album, Apollo (1970). Their music was occasionally heavy and the band sounds like Led Zeppelin or Procol Harum, with little bit King Crimson in it. Members have been in other Finnish progressive projects.

Luca Turilli's Rhapsody is the name of the new band of the Italian composer Luca Turilli due to the friendly split between Luca Turilli and Alex Starpoli (main composers of the bands Rhapsody and Rhapsody of Fire). The addition of Luca's name before Rhapsody is due to the same legal reasons of the past not allowing him to use the word Rhapsody alone. Drottnar is bizarre; orthodox bedlam skillfully crafted through cutting- edge unorthodoxy. The totality of the concept compels beyond what trends or external preferences will ever decide. Conceived through a series of deeply vested intentions and ideals, Drottnar was proudly established in 1997. The bandmembers' previous relationship to death metal evolved in patterns of fierceness, slightly changing into a more extreme taste.
Founding member Greg Chivers established Fornost Arnor in November 2005. In January 2006, recording of the first EP In Darkness We Rise commenced, with the help of newly recruited members, York Street and Jeremy J. Elvin. The bands style in the early days was more akin to a traditional symphonic black metal sound. Only the one show was performed with this line-up at the Colchester Arts Centre, with the addition of Jay Price performing drum duties and the EP never made it to official release. Due to Greg’s relocation in 2006, the band temporally disbanded.

dredg is a progressive alternative band from Los Gatos, California, USA formed in 1993. Their first studio album, Leitmotif, was released by the Universal music label on September 11, 2001. Prior to that, it had been self-released by the members of the band. After the album hit music stores, Dredg acquired an almost immediate cult following thanks to Leitmotif's unique sound and concept. There has also been a movie planned for release as a music video for the entire album, though the project has been scrapped due to the death of the lead actor.
