White Fence

White Fence's trippy, distortion-laced, psychedelic pop-influenced tunes (sounding, in other words, something along the lines of a warped cassette tape featuring The Left Banke or The Merry-Go-Round) are the brainchild of Timothy Presley (also a member of the like-minded groups Strange Boys and Darker My Love). The project's self-titled debut was released on the Woodsist label in the spring of 2010. For the project's next release, White Fence Is Growing Faith , Presley didn't change much. The January 2011 album follows the same sometimes goofy, always trippily tuneful template of the debut.

Artist Type:

Lumerians

Distorted clouds of organ, synth, and vibraphone churn above hypnagogic waves of percussion and bass. Referencing psych and prog without the use of guitars, Lumerians create cinematic rock music that is warm, dark, organic and non-retro. Male and female vocals propel songs forward without eclipsing the chimeric ambience of the music. Parallels could be made to the ominous soundscapes of Ennio Morricone, the propulsive rhythms of Can, and the hypnotic oscillations of Silver Apples.

Linda Perhacs

Linda Perhacs is an American singer-songwriter, who released her only album "Parallelograms" in 1970 to scant notice or sales. The album was rediscovered by record enthusiasts and grew in popularity with the rise of the New Weird America movement and the Internet. It was reissued on CD and 2-LP in 2005, and again in 2008. Native of Mill Valley, California, United States, Linda Perhacs spent many years away from the music industry (mostly spent as dental technician).

Mick Wills

Far from being just an entertainer or a superstar-dj, Mick Wills is one of those obsessed with the clubbing-phenomenon and generally with music. His 1994 warm-up for DJ Hell deeply impressed him and offered Wills the great opportunity to mix in the legendary Ultraschall in Munchen. His first mix was released in 2001, promoted by Gigolo Records. Mick Wills' style can be described as neo-retro-electro, because in his sets he combines the best sounds in the last 25 years, from electro-minimal sounds to the vintage Chicago, Detroit, italo, hi nrg, acid.
