Progressive rock

Pink Floyd was a psychedelic/progressive rock band formed in Cambridge, England, United Kingdom in 1965. Pink Floyd is one of rock's most successful and influential acts, having sold over 200 million albums worldwide and with 74.5 million certified units in the United States, making them one of the best-selling artists of all time. The band's classic lineup was Roger Waters (vocals, bass), David Gilmour (vocals, guitar), Rick Wright (organ, keyboards, vocals) and Nick Mason (drums).

Red Sparowes is a post-rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, United States, comprising current and former members of Isis, Neurosis, Halifax Pier, Samsara, Angel Hair and Pleasure Forever. Their sound is characteristic of soundscape-influenced experimental rock, with an otherwise uncommon extensive use of a pedal steel guitar. Red Sparowes formed in 2003 as another project for its members: Bryant Clifford Meyer, Greg Burns, Josh Graham, Jeff Caxide, and Dana Berkowitz.

Damian Wilson is a very talented singer in the progressive rock genre. He was the lead singer for both Treshold and Landmarq and also recorded four solo albums. He performed on many Ayreon-albums and toured with Arjen Lucassen's project Star One. He played the lead role of Jean Valjean in the Les Miserables UK National Tour and recently did a European tour with Arjen Lucassen's Stream of Passion. Bio from his website:
