City Of Fire

BURTON C. BELL (VOCALS)
TERRY "SHO" MURRAY (GUITAR/PRODUCER)
BYRON STROUD (BASS)
BOB WAGNER (DRUMS)
IAN WHITE (GUITAR) Fire, when burning, is in a state of turbulence, unrest, reliance and dependence. When extinguished, it becomes calm and unattached, freed from its own limitations. Fire can only occur when properly provoked, much like the creative mind. Creativity, like fire, can only burn with sustenance - that essential element that keeps the fire burning.

Like a double row of pearls hundreds of coral islands forming 26 atolls spread from north to south in the gentle breeze of the Indian Ocean. At first the hard sound of Metal seems a contradiction to picturesque white beaches, palm trees and blue sunny skies. Yet now NOTHNEGAL are embarking to teach the world otherwise with their international debut album.

Like many other unique creators, The Young Gods have never let trends or fashion interfere with their music.… That's why, since 1982, the trio from Switzerland cultivates its own sound, its own rhythm and its own world, that has naturally grown and evolved over the years to become one of the most unpredictable and powerful outlets in worldwide sonic turmoil. From their early mixes of new wave, to Stooges-like powertrip rock, and electronic ambiance (furiously captured on their '87 first LP), The Young Gods have covered a large scale of yesterday and today's music.
