Dick Dale (born Richard Anthony Mansour on May 4, 1937, in Quincy, Massachusetts) is a pioneer of surf rock and one of the most influential guitarists of the early 1960s. His technique influenced future guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen. He experimented with reverb and made use of custom made Fender amplifiers.
He was born to a Lebanese father and a Polish mother, and soon learned to play the drums, the ukulele, and finally the guitar. Among his early musical influences was his uncle, an oud player performing belly dance music.

The Beach Boys

The Beach Boys are a pop and rock music group formed in Hawthorne, California in 1961, who are widely considered to be one of the most influential bands in rock and pop music history. They have recorded dozens of Top 40 hits (including four US #1 singles), many best-selling albums, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. The original group comprised singer-musician-composer Brian Wilson, his brothers Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson, their cousin Mike Love, friend Al Jardine, and David Marks.

Real Estate

Real Estate is a psychedelic surf pop band hailing from New Jersey, now based in Brooklyn, N.Y. The band has roots in the Garden State and they’re led by singer/guitarist Martin Courtney and feature guitarist Matthew Mondanile (the latter known to some for his work in Ducktails, Predator Vision, and The Parasails) as well as Alex Bleeker on bass and Etienne Duguay (also of Predator Vision) on the drums.

The guys have had regular air play on Hertbeat FM on the unearthed radio show and also have been interviewed and played a live acoustic set on the radio station. The band have also been featured on BBC Radio 3's The Verb show.

Within months of forming, the band, then consisting of dual vocalists Bryce Pulaski and Andy Kapinos on guitar and drums respectively, recorded a six-song demo entitled 'Killing Spree', threw together a few dozen copies on their own and hit the road for a week-long Northeast tour.
